Several roads around Padang Merdeka, Kuching, will be closed in stages from August 6th to 19th for the Kuching Street Parade 2025. Closures facilitate preparations, rehearsals, the parade itself (August 16th, 6pm-11pm), and subsequent cleanup. Jalan McDougall and Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg will be partially affected. Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) advises planning alternative routes to avoid congestion.
