Malaysia's Works Ministry is implementing the Multi-Lane Fast Flow (MLFF) toll system via a business-to-business (B2B) model, avoiding government expenditure. Private providers will negotiate directly with highway concessionaires. A proof-of-concept is underway, utilizing RFID and ANPR technology to prevent toll evasion. The previously projected RM3.46 billion cost is now irrelevant due to the B2B approach.
