Israeli tourists are increasingly visiting Thailand, filling the gap left by declining Chinese tourism. Between January 1st and May 11th, Thailand welcomed 12.95 million international tourists, a slight decrease compared to the same period last year. The decline is primarily attributed to fewer Chinese visitors. However, Israel is now the 15th most popular foreign destination for Israelis, and KResearch predicts 350,000 Israeli tourists will visit Thailand in 2024, a 25% increase from 2023.
