Ten inmates escaped from a New Orleans jail with suspected help from prison staff. Three were recaptured, leaving seven still at large. The escape occurred around 1:01 a.m. local time on Friday when the inmates breached a wall behind a toilet, exited through a warehouse door, and scaled the perimeter wall using blankets for protection against barbed wire. The escape was discovered during a headcount at 8:30 a.m.
