A 30-year-old housewife in Kuala Terengganu lost RM158,498.89, her father's business capital, to an online job scam. She was lured by a job advertisement promising 10% commission for boosting hotel ratings. Initially receiving small commissions, she was later instructed to make payments for new tasks. After transferring the substantial sum into nine different bank accounts, she realized it was a scam when the promised commissions were not paid.
