A lorry driver, Rudi Zulkarnain Mat Radi, 45, has been released on RM6,000 bail after pleading not guilty to nine counts of causing death by dangerous driving. The charges relate to a crash on May 13, 2025, that killed nine Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) personnel in Hilir Perak. His driving licence has been suspended, and he is required to report to the police weekly. The next court date is June 17.
