A lorry driver, Rudi Zulkarnain Mat Radi, 45, was rearrested shortly after being released on bail for dangerous driving causing the death of nine Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) personnel. He was detained again in connection with a cattle theft case dating back to April in Hutan Melintang, Bagan Datuk. He had pleaded not guilty to nine counts of dangerous driving resulting in the deaths of the FRU officers on May 13, 2025. His bail was set at RM6,000.
