Datin Seri Pamela Ling Yueh, previously reported missing, has been granted leave for judicial review to challenge the arrest warrant and travel ban imposed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). The High Court ruled there were issues requiring a hearing. Pamela's lawyer argued her case while the MACC and Immigration Director-General were represented by a Senior Federal Counsel. Police investigations into Pamela's disappearance initially focused on her husband, Datuk Seri Thomas Hah Tiing Siu, but are considering other potential suspects. Pamela disappeared while en route to provide a statement to the MACC. She and her husband are reportedly undergoing a complex divorce involving substantial assets and are also under investigation for money laundering.
