The Royal Malaysia Police, specifically the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT), will intensify operations targeting heavy vehicles, particularly lorries and buses, through Op Perdagangan. This operation aims to detect drivers, especially lorry drivers, who commit offences such as carrying excessive loads. The operation will be conducted jointly with other enforcement agencies like the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) to ensure compliance with road regulations.
