Former celebrity preacher PU Azman's prison sentence for sexually assaulting a teenage boy has been reduced from 24 years to 12 years. The High Court ruled the sentences for the two counts of assault should run concurrently, as they stemmed from the same trial and involved the same victim. While the jail term was reduced, the two strokes of the cane remain. The original sentence was imposed under the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
