A young woman from a low-income family in Muar, Malaysia, achieved her dream of becoming a doctor thanks to the help of philanthropist Kuan Chee Heng, also known as Uncle Kentang. Lim Jia Jia, who scored 10A's in her exams, was unable to secure a scholarship in medicine. Uncle Kentang connected her with a Datuk Seri who, through his foundation, funded her medical studies at Management & Science University (MSU). After overcoming challenges including studying during the Covid-19 pandemic, Jia Jia is now a houseman at Sungai Buloh Hospital.
