Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) announced a record RM14.5 billion income distribution and bonus to its unit holders across 18 fixed-price and variable-price funds. Driven by a positive macroeconomic and capital market environment and a diversified asset strategy, PNB's net income grew by 30.2% to RM16.97 billion. Chairman Raja Tan Sri Arshad Raja Tun Uda highlighted the increased number of unit holders and accounts, reaching 13.1 million and 16.2 million respectively. Total assets under management recovered to RM348.3 billion. The flagship fund, Amanah Saham Bumiputra (ASB), distributed an income of 5.75 sen, the highest in five years.
