The Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) is awaiting a full report regarding water pollution flowing through the Paya Jaras Muslim Cemetery construction site in Sungai Buloh. Construction activities have been temporarily halted. Director Datuk Mohd. Shahzihan Ahmad stated they are identifying the pollution source and expect the report within a month. While acknowledging an odor, he downplayed its severity, saying there have been no reports of hospitalizations.
