An 11-year-old boy, Muhammad Aidil Firash Khairul Azman, drowned after falling into a river in Kota Aur, Kuala Muda, Seberang Perai Utara, Penang, last night. Members of the public rescued him before the fire department arrived, but he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ministry of Health. The fire department received the emergency call at 7:24 pm and the operation concluded at 8:37 pm. The case has been handed over to the police.
