A 40-year-old lorry driver died in a four-vehicle collision involving three lorries and an MPV on the North-South Expressway. The accident occurred at KM 366 southbound around 10:30 pm. The deceased was driving a lorry carrying limestone. Two men in another lorry carrying pipes and the driver of a motorcycle-laden lorry sustained injuries. The driver and passenger of the MPV were unharmed. Firefighters used special equipment to extricate the deceased. The injured were sent to a nearby hospital.
