Malaysian trail runner Aqmal Adzmi successfully defended his title in the men's 100km category at the Janda Baik Ultra 2025, finishing with a time of 18 hours, 33 minutes, and 54 seconds. The Bentong native overcame challenging terrain and increased distance due to recent rain. He expressed pride in his hometown hosting the event, highlighting Janda Baik's natural beauty and technical trails. This race is part of his preparation for the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Spain this September. Poo Lai Kuen won the women's 100km category. The event attracted nearly 2,000 participants from 19 countries.
