Authorities raided an illegal entertainment outlet in Bandar Manjalara, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, around 12:10 am, arresting 20 Myanmar nationals. Seven women believed to be guest relations officers (GROs), a premise keeper, other employees, and 11 male patrons were detained. Police seized audio equipment, decoders, tablets, alcohol, sales receipts, and cash. The unlicensed premise employed foreign workers illegally and offered karaoke rooms exclusively to Myanmar nationals. Some detainees misused social visit passes or lacked valid identification. The case is being investigated under the Immigration Act 1959/63, Excise Act 1976, and Entertainment Act 1992.
