The King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim, appointed three judges at Istana Negara. Datuk Lee Swee Seng was appointed as a Federal Court Judge, while Datuk Hayatul Akmal Abdul Aziz and Datuk Dr Lim Hock Leng were appointed as Court of Appeal Judges. The ceremony was witnessed by senior judicial figures including the Chief Justice, the President of the Court of Appeal, and the Chief Judges of Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak. The Attorney General and other officials were also present.
