Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim launched RIBAT, Malaysia's first locally designed and built High Mobility Light Tactical Vehicle (HMLTV), at LIMA’25. The vehicle, named by Anwar himself, symbolizes national defense and border security. The event also included MoUs between MILDEF, the vehicle's manufacturer, and Indonesian defense company PT PINDAD for export and technology transfer, and with STRIDE for developing two more tactical vehicle platforms domestically.
