Malaysian professional men's doubles pair, Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani, advanced to the second round of the Malaysia Masters badminton tournament after defeating French duo Eloi Adam and Leo Rossi. The world No. 2 pair won in straight sets and expressed their desire to win the Super 500 title in front of their home crowd. They will face Taiwanese pair Chen Zhi Ray and Lin Yu Chieh in the next round. Other Malaysian pairs, including Low Hang Yee-Ng Eng Cheong, Choong Hon Jian-Haikal Nazri, and Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun, also progressed to the second round.
