Former Sabah Governor Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Ahmadshah bin Abdullah passed away at age 78 on Tuesday evening. The Sabah government declared a one-day mourning period with flags at half-mast. Ahmadshah served as the ninth Yang di-Pertua Negeri from 2003 to 2010 and was also Pro-Chancellor of MARA University of Technology. He is survived by his wife, three sons, a daughter, and nine grandchildren.
