The six-week-long game, titled "Magnus Carlsen vs. The World," saw players vote on their collective moves against the former world champion. Carlsen, while feeling initially advantageous, admitted the crowd gave him no real chances to win. This isn't the first such event; Garry Kasparov and Viswanathan Anand have also faced large online teams.
