Five men suspected of involvement in an unlicensed moneylending syndicate operating with violence in Kuala Terengganu were arrested on May 20th and 21st. Kuala Terengganu district police chief, ACP Azli Mohd. Noor, stated the men, aged 16 to 39, were apprehended during Op Vulture. The syndicate is believed to have used forceful tactics in their illegal lending activities.
