A man is feared drowned after the pickup truck he was driving was swept away by strong currents in Sungai Tendrik, Pos Bihai, Gua Musang. The incident occurred around 8:30 pm while he was transporting two passengers, a Pakistani and a Bangladeshi, to Kampung Pahong. Two other drivers witnessed the two survivors who explained they waited three hours for the water level to recede before attempting to cross. The driver is believed to have been swept away while trying to escape the submerged vehicle after the passengers managed to break a window and swim to safety.
