Malaysia Stadium Corporation (PSM) CEO, Iliyas Jamil, denied that the wet courts at the Malaysia Masters badminton tournament were due to a leaky roof. He clarified that condensation from air conditioning pipes caused water droplets. The temperature difference between the cool stadium and hot outside air led to condensation. Staff are wiping the pipes every one to five hours to mitigate the issue, which had previously disrupted matches. This contrasts with the Malaysia Open in January, where a leaky roof caused delays.
