The Sabah state-level Kaamatan festival, held May 30-31 at the KDCA compound, will feature several changes. A 14th traditional house representing the Tobilung ethnic group has been added. No alcohol will be served in the traditional houses, focusing instead on showcasing Sabah's culture. Stall rental fees have been reduced. Stricter enforcement will be in place to address noise complaints and unruly behavior, with fines for loud music after 1am.
