Plant conservation in Borneo featured in scientific journal
The Sabah Forestry Department's Forest Research Centre has published Sandakania Volume 26, a scientific journal focused on plant systematics, morphology, and natural history. Funded by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, this issue emphasizes plant conservation in Borneo, exploring research on iconic plant groups, conservation challenges, and the importance of botanical documentation. Led by Dr. Wong Khoon Meng, the journal features ten articles covering topics like Dipterocarps, Sabah's biodiversity hotspots, and the Flora of Borneo.
