National Science Week targets 300,000 participants in Lahad Datu
Malaysia's Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) aims to attract over 300,000 participants to National Science Week (MSN) 2025. The program features over 100 science, technology, and innovation activities, including carnivals in six zones, outreach programs in rural schools (Kembara Sains Borneo and Rehlah Sains), and sponsorships. Deputy Minister Datuk Mohammad Yusof Apdal launched the Sabah Zone carnival, highlighting its hands-on approach and importance in fostering interest in science, aligning with Malaysia's goal of becoming a high-tech nation by 2030. The carnival has already seen strong student participation.
