Two-year-old boy drowns after falling through uncovered manhole in Sibu
A two-year-old boy tragically drowned after falling into an uncovered manhole in Sibu, Sarawak. Firefighters responded to the scene at Pusat Tanahwang, Jalan Dr Wong Soon Kai, after receiving a distress call. The boy's father reported him missing, and rescuers found the child in the sewer shortly after. Despite being retrieved, the boy, identified as Ehthin Ling, was pronounced dead by medical personnel. His body was transported to Sibu Hospital.
