Ashari Abu Samah dilantik Ketua Polis Kuantan
Alor Gajah District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ashari Abu Samah, has been appointed as the new Kuantan Police Chief, effective today. He replaces Senior Assistant Commissioner Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu, who has been appointed as Head of the Perak Contingent Police Headquarters' Internal Security and Public Order Department. The handover ceremony took place at the Kuantan District Police Headquarters (IPD), witnessed by Pahang Police Chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman. Ashari, with 25 years of service in the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), previously served as Cameron Highlands Police Chief in 2018, Wangsa Maju Police Chief in 2024, and Alor Gajah Police Chief in 2024.
