Honda Malaysia has issued a recall for 87,490 vehicles, including Jazz, City, Civic, Accord, BR-V, HR-V, CR-V, and Odyssey models, to replace fuel pumps as a precautionary measure. The recall addresses two types of pumps: fuel pump impeller, which may swell and prevent starting or cause engine stalling, and high-pressure fuel pumps, which may crack and leak. Affected models range from 2013 to 2024. Honda Malaysia apologized for the inconvenience and assured customers that current models are not affected. The company emphasized customer safety as its top priority and extended the recall to models beyond their warranty period.
