MBKS upgrading open spaces to enhance quality of life
Kuching South City Council (MBKS), with funding from the National Landscape Department, is upgrading two open spaces at Lorong Bayor Bukit 14 and Lorong F, Taman BDC. The upgrades include new footpaths, drainage, playgrounds, fitness equipment, gazebos, table tennis tables, hopscotch games, lighting, and landscaping. The Lorong Bayor Bukit 14 project, part of the Development of Living Environment Landscape initiative, began June 11 and is expected to finish October 1. The Lorong F, Taman BDC project started June 9 with an expected completion date of September 29. Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng emphasized MBKS's commitment to enhancing community spaces and improving residents' quality of life.
