MG Motor Malaysia has officially launched the MG S5 EV, an electric SUV rivaling the Proton X50 EV and BYD Atto 3. Priced from RM116,548 to RM136,548, the S5 EV comes in three variants: Com 49 kWh, Com Long Range 62 kWh, and Lux Long Range 62 kWh. A launch package offers a RM6,000 discount and a free 7kW wallbox, bringing early bird prices down to RM110,548 - RM130,548. The S5 EV boasts a rear-wheel-drive system, a maximum output of 170 PS and 250 Nm of torque, and a range of up to 430 km. Key features include LED lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and V2L capability.
