‘Pink Buses’ signal start of modern public transport in KK
Three new pink buses, part of the BAS.MY initiative under the federal government's Stage Bus Service Transformation (SBST) program, have arrived in Kota Kinabalu. Minister Phoong Jin Zhe welcomed their arrival, marking the beginning of a modernized public transport system in the city. He thanked the Minister of Transport and the Prime Minister for their support. Trial runs are expected to begin soon after staff recruitment, driver training, route planning, and inter-agency coordination are completed.
