Kelana Jaya LRT Line To Undergo Upgrade; Weekend Disruptions From 9 Aug To 22 Nov 2025
The Kelana Jaya LRT Line will experience weekend and public holiday service disruptions from August 9, 2025, to November 22, 2025, due to a RM150 million signalling system upgrade. This upgrade, now 80% complete, will replace the old system with the latest SelTrac Generation 8 technology, improving lifespan, data analytics, cybersecurity, and communication stability. The disruptions will occur in phases, affecting different station groups at different times. Weekday services will remain unaffected. Free shuttle buses and support staff will be available during disruptions.
