MRT3 Circle Line Gets Final Approval From The Ministry Of Transport
The MRT3 Circle Line project in Kuala Lumpur has received official approval from the Ministry of Transport, allowing land acquisition to begin and conclude by 2026. Public inspection saw over 45,000 participants, with 93.3% expressing support. Following public feedback, land acquisitions were reduced from 1,012 to 690 lots, and station locations were adjusted. The 51.6km line will connect existing rail networks via 10 interchange stations, running through areas like Setapak, Ampang, and Cheras.
