Mohd Na’im: Public must stop inciting hatred in the name of religion
Malaysia's Religious Affairs Minister, Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, urged the public to avoid inciting religious hatred, warning of its divisive impact on society and families. He cautioned against retaliatory actions and spreading slander on social media. Speaking at the National-level Maulidur Rasul celebration attended by the King, Queen, Prime Minister, and other dignitaries, he called for prayers for Malaysia's continued peace and for the well-being of Palestinians. He also emphasized the importance of knowledge, technology, unity, and harmony in building a developed Malaysia MADANI, referencing the recent National Day celebrations.
