First child witness gives consistent testimony, says counsel
The first child witness in the bullying case related to the death of Zara Qairina Mahathir has completed her testimony. Lawyer Datuk Ram Singh described the testimony as "a nice story from a child" and stated the witness considered herself a close friend, but not a "best friend forever," of the deceased. The witness reportedly provided consistent answers and explained events from July 4, 2025, onward, including the night she spent at Zara's house and alleged bullying incidents at school. A second child witness, not one of the accused, is expected to testify later. Lawyers commended the first witness for her composure and honesty.
