Sifar denggi 2030 mampu dicapai dengan usaha semua pihak
Malaysia reported 122,323 dengue cases in 2024, a slight decrease of 0.57% compared to the previous year. However, deaths from dengue rose by 17% to 117 cases. The Ministry of Health (KKM) has implemented various initiatives, including advanced technology, community engagement, and law enforcement, to combat dengue. These include the iDengue portal, fogging, and the release of Wolbachia-carrying mosquitoes, which has reduced dengue cases by 50-80% in pilot areas. Despite these efforts, continued collaboration with civil society and the corporate sector is crucial to further reduce dengue-related deaths.
