Kilang plastik diserbu, asrama kontena kotor
A plastics factory in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, was raided for housing 73 foreign workers in containers without proper accommodation certification. The workers, 17 Nepalese and 56 Bangladeshi, were living in unsanitary and unsafe conditions, violating the Workers' Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990. Authorities issued compounds and closure orders, citing concerns about air pollution, noise, and disease. The factory management promised to relocate the workers to registered housing within three days and attend a labor compliance course.
