Ramai terkesan jika kelab ‘tutup kedai’
The First Instance Body (FIB) faces a dilemma in deciding which Malaysian football clubs will receive national licenses for the upcoming season. Failing to secure a license could lead to a surplus of players and significantly impact the local football ecosystem. Stadium owners, ticketing companies, security personnel, volunteers, merchandise vendors, and food stall operators, among others, rely on the income generated by league matches. Football observer, Associate Professor Zulakbal Abd. Karim, highlighted the widespread consequences of club closures, affecting not only players and staff but also various stakeholders. The FIB is currently reviewing documents submitted by clubs applying for licenses, considering financial, business, personnel, legal, sporting, and infrastructure criteria.
