MRCB subsidiary secures RM2.94b contract to develop Shah Alam Sports Complex
MRCB Land, a subsidiary of MRCB, has been awarded a RM2.94 billion contract by the Selangor state government to construct the new Kompleks Sukan Shah Alam (KSSA). The project, which includes demolition of the existing stadium, is expected to be completed in 2029. The new KSSA will feature a 45,000-capacity stadium with a retractable pitch and aims to be a significant economic, social, and environmental landmark for Selangor. MRCB, known for its work on Bukit Jalil Stadium, is partnering with Hijjas Kasturi Architects and Populous to deliver a world-class design.
