A 35-year-old man with 34 prior criminal and drug offences was shot dead by police in Bayan Lepas, Penang, after he opened fire on them during a crime prevention operation. Police believe the group is responsible for 25 robbery and burglary cases across Penang, involving losses of approximately RM500,000.
