Aset, harta wakaf Kolej Islam Malaya hampir RM10 bilion ‘dilarikan’?

Nearly RM10 billion in waqf assets belonging to Kolej Islam Malaya (KIM) have allegedly been misappropriated and illegally transferred to a trust since 1970. These assets include the over 30-acre KIM campus in Petaling Jaya, numerous residential properties, and other holdings across Malaysia and Singapore. Dr. Firdaus Ahmad Azzam, Secretary of the Save KIM Assets Secretariat, claims the transfer was unauthorized and involved prominent figures after KIM's abrupt closure in 1970. He alleges some assets were used to purchase shares in a gambling company, despite being donated by Muslims for Islamic education.
