Director: Edu Dept working to increase enrolment in Form Six, better STPM performance

The Sarawak Education Department is actively working to increase Form Six enrollment and improve STPM exam results. Director Omar Mahli highlighted efforts to raise awareness among students about exam formats and answering techniques, alongside providing better training for Form Six teachers. While acknowledging a teacher shortage, existing mainstream teachers are filling the gap. The department is investigating the performance decline in some previously high-achieving schools and will analyze the contributing factors.
