Myanmar authorities seized over 3 tonnes of drugs, including methamphetamine, ketamine, and stimulant tablets, worth over RM40 million, destined for Malaysia. 13 suspects were arrested in a month-long operation, with 9 still at large. The drugs were to be transported via sea routes using a complex network involving boats, prawn farms, and vehicles. No Malaysians were arrested. The operation targeted a major cross-border drug smuggling network, with shipments originating from Yangon and Kawthoung.
