Subsidi RON95: Pembentangan selesai, keputusan sepenuhnya diserahkan kepada MoF – Rafizi

The Ministry of Economy has handed over the implementation of targeted RON95 petrol subsidies to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) after four presentations to the Cabinet. Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli confirmed this, stating the matter is no longer under his ministry's purview and awaits further action from the MoF. This centralized approach under the MoF is part of a broader fiscal reform agenda. A complete mechanism, potentially involving MyKad and dual pricing, is expected to be announced after the first half of the year, as the government aims for a thorough, rather than hasty, implementation.
