The Selangor government has requested 10% of the Federal Land Commissioner's (PTP) Muslim cemetery land in Hulu Semenyih be allocated for local residents. Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari stated this initiative aims to address burial land management issues in areas under federal administration but near state-governed regions. This move is hoped to provide burial space for locals wishing to be interred closer to their communities.
