Sarawak Transport Minister Lee Kim Shin proposed a dedicated terminal at Miri Airport for private jets and business operations. This aims to attract foreign investment and cater to growing demand from private jet users and offshore businesses. The proposed terminal would handle all business-related clearances, including private jets, offshore personnel, and air cargo, separate from the main terminal. Lee also suggested a dedicated air cargo facility for Miri, requesting Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) to assess both proposals.
