Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz, Malaysia's Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), has resigned from UMNO and intends to join PKR. The former UMNO Supreme Council member and Kota Raja division chief stated he made the decision after consulting with various individuals inside and outside the party. His resignation letter has been submitted to UMNO leadership.
